Raw Honey

I will go for Honey anytime because it is one of my favorite ingredients. Yes, Honey and it is underrated because of all things used in homemade masks with no evidence backing them. Honey is the only one that (with few exceptions to Turmeric and Green Tea) has evidence backing it up and will make sense in masks and cleansers for that glowing skin you desire. Since ancient times, honey has been used to treat a variety of illnesses, injuries, burns, cuts, and skin conditions. Ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Chinese, and Romans were all familiar with and cherished this incredibly nourishing food. Through the ages, honey's health benefits have been extensively discussed in literature and religious texts, playing a part in Ayurveda, Buddhism, the writings of the Torah, the Bible, and the Qur'an. This incredibly sweet liquid of love is rich in vitamins, enzymes, and amino acids; it is naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and incredible for sensitive and acne-prone skin. It also promotes and accelerates the healing and regeneration of soft tissues. Honey is essential for treating psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, and dry skin disorders since it is a natural humectant that attracts and holds moisture. In summary, honey is very safe to use and very moisturizing. It has anti-bacterial properties, anti-inflammatory properties, and it is known to be good for wound healing.
